Certified Substitute Teachers

Cheektowaga Union Free School District is seeking both certified teachers in all subject areas and grade levels.

The mission of the CSUFSD is to provide a positive, safe environment that encourages ALL learners to strive for excellence. 

We are a District with approximately 1,200 students (PK-Grade 12) who learn in our elementary schools (PK-Grade 2 and Grades 3-5), our middle school (Grades 6-8), and our high school (Grades 9-12). 

This is a great opportunity for certified teachers to gain classroom experience working with a diverse population while implementing instructional strategies and restorative practices to support academic and socio-emotional needs. Our community, Board of Education, teachers, staff, and administration create a positive learning environment that allows all students to succeed!

Certified applicants:

• Must possess a NYS teaching certification
• Must be fingerprinted through the NYS Department of Education
• Attach a resume, letters of recommendation, and a Substitute Teacher Application
• Certified applicants will be paid at a rate of $125.00/day, with an increase to $135.00/day after 30 days of service
